Cooper`s Kitchen in Montpelier

Good if you are looking for a meal in the area. I wouldn't go out of my way. Much better than most of the alternatives around this area.

Service was a little slow. Prices were a little high and the food was very good but not great. Still, best restaurant you will find for 30 miles or more. Just as good as the places in Garden City. Breakfast is the best meal served here.

Food here is good: portions are generous and filling. It's a small mom and pop shop, but if you're looking for somewhere to eat near Bear Lake on a sunday avoid the lines and come here.

The food was excellent, and it would be worthy of a 5 star rating if the management would staff enough people for a Friday night dinner service. There was 1 cook and 1 waitress hustling and working their tails off, but you can't serve a full dining area with only 2 people. We had the stuffed potato bites, French dip sandwich with fries and parmesan crusted chicken. Everything was excellent, except the service was lacking due as previously mentioned. We will stop by again if we come through town.

Chili Verde omelette and potatoes delicious. Coffee good and comfortable dining area. Would come here again.

Oh my heck, you have GOT to try this place. The mashed potatoes are AMAZING! Homemade and wonderful. The salad dressings are also homemade and very good. My chicken was cooked perfectly. The service was soooo good. Nothing but good to say about this small town, sweet restaurant!

Super slow service and food sucked for the price. I don't normally write reviews but if you're at bear lake and looking to eat out, drive past this place. Server was friendly though.

My food, the rib tips where great loved them, but my wifes steak didnt live up to the price. She was still hungry afterwards. Restaurant was clean and we got right in. We did have problems with our water cups never getting refilled, waitress kind of disappeared umtil the end. I would still recommend the rib tips.

Been here several times and the food and service is very good.

This place was great, especially for our two kids. They have a great kids meal that includes ice cream at the end (excellent incentive!) The food was delicious, the place is cozy and the staff was WONDERFUL! Definitely will be coming again the next time we're in town.

Great selection of meals! Atypical of a cafe as far as expected quality is concerned. Food seems and tastes fresher...as in not deep-fried everything.

Had breakfast. It was perfect. The potatoes are touch.

We were driving through Montpelier and stopped here for lunch. The tomato basil soup was wonderful, probably one of the best tomato soup I've had. The meatloaf was good and filling, had excellent flavor. I tried the country gravy with my potatoes: it had good flavor, but I would have preferred it to be thicker. I'd definitely stop back in again.

Basic American fare, clean environment, kind personnel, and best of all, their "basic American fare" is really good!!

The food here can be hit or miss. Most of the it is a hot. Love their soups.

Good food, artfully prepared

This place is amazing! We had breakfast here 2 mornings in a row, while in town. The food is delicious, the prices are good and the service was terrific. Highly recommended.

An awesome staff, lot's of fun! Good prices and the food is delicious, the Parmesan garlic fries are Amazing! Not to mention the perfection of their home made sauces. The ranch is like a bit of heaven on the tongue,and the tartar sauce is light and just perfect, I've never tasted a better tartar sauce. ... And as it say's on the menu, the Deep fried cheese cake WILL change your life! I love this place, it is my new GO TO place when I'm in Montpelier.

Good food and good service. Place was very clean and we were seated and our order taken quickly.

After a nothing to write home about meal and so so cup of coffee I was getting ready to leave and a young lady walks through the side door wrapped in a blanket, looking very ill. She walked back to the kitchen, guess she just came fro the ER. Made me feel real good about just eating a meal here.

Really quick service, yummy food. Prices could be a little lower but other than that it was all great. Deffinetly stop by if you are in the area!! 😄

It was delicious! And the air-conditioning was great. I'm sure there wasn't air-conditioning when we were there several years ago or it was broken--just fans.
